Edward Baden Relocations has been open and fully operational throughout the lockdown period, covering all areas nationwide. We are closely following local and government advice and keeping our customers updated should anything change - but until then, we are operating as normal… with some slight changes to our standard operating procedures.
We take COVID-19 seriously and have implemented as many preventative measures and processes as possible to keep our customers and staff safe during the relocation process. These include;
Individual Risk Assessments
Each project is individually assessed and full risk assessments provided.
Keeping High Risk Individuals Safe
The safety of our staff and our customers are paramount. Team bubbles were formed during the initial lockdown period and those bubbles have remained unchanged.
Staff who are categorised under the high risk category under Government Guidelines such as older members and those with underlying medical conditions have been removed from these team bubbles - ensuring that they have zero contact with clients or members of the public.
Practising Social Distancing
To minimise the risk of catching or spreading coronavirus, team members are frequently reminded of the importance of social distancing both in the workplace and when outside of it.
Senior managers ensure that Covid-19 Method Statements, Advice and Risk Assessments are adhered to when carrying out each individual project. We strongly believe social distancing is essential to stop the spread of the virus.
Conducting Frequent Cleaning
In our efforts to keep our business operations ‘COVID-secure’, we conduct frequent cleaning and disinfecting of objects and surfaces that are touched regularly - particularly in areas of high use such as vehicles, crates and lifting and removal equipment.
We also encourage staff to frequently wash their hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds and to practice proper hand drying and to avoid touching their face, eyes, nose or mouth to reduce the potential spread of Coronavirus.
Regular Review of Work Practices
Our senior personnel are tasked with constant checks and ensure that all the necessary procedures are being followed, and safely store and record data and findings.

We understand these are trying times for everyone, at Edward Baden we actively promote mental health and wellbeing awareness to our team members and offer them our continuous support to the best of our ability.
