With Christmas long gone and the joys of spring and summer still so far away, there’s not a great deal to look forward to in February, unless you are an old romantic who chooses to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
For those of you who don’t know, Valentine’s Day, which is actually called Saint Valentine’s Day, is traditionally a day when lovers would express their love with presents such as flowers and confectionary. Not a great deal has changed over the years with flowers and chocolates still being the gifts of choice but other popular presents now also include diamond jewellery and underwear too.
