Edward Baden successfully completed the 3 phase new bed installation programme of approximately 200 rooms and including the environmental disposal of the existing beds.
The complexity of this project was further shown when Edward Baden identified and subsequently resolved the transfer of beds onto relevant floors given the lift dimension were inadequate. Edward Baden resolved this by implementing an outside ladder lift which allowed the installation of beds to relevant floors.
Edward Baden project team co-ordinated with the local authority regarding the usage of the ladder lift ensuring that all Health and Safety and parking regulations were adhered to.
